DYL: An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Every once in a while you see something that challenges common beliefs. I saw this video on Youtube that did just that for me in regards to aging and health. Everyone says when you get old you will become slow moving, sagging skin and  just plain elderly. Well folks that is untrue with proper diet and exercise you can still remain youthful in appearance and energy for many years to come. Many people think they know what the proper diet for good health consists of but this video below may change what you perceive to be as a good diet. Check it out....


 This woman was able to sustain a youthful appearance and energy well into 70 years of age!! Also, not to be rude but did you see her husband? He made the choice to not follow the same diet plan as her and you can see the difference. Many of us in our 20s and 30s don't look this good or have this amount of energy. As it was stated in the video her diet consisted mostly of raw fruits and vegetables. Of course this lifestyle will not work overnight but as she says in the video you build up to this diet. 

Another thing that reconfirmed that this lifestyle is the way to go was a book that my grandmother gave to me many years ago. My grandmother looks really good for her age and gets around well. Both of my grandmothers are advocates for healthy lifestyles and some of this information I retained as a child and some of it fell on deaf ears. As a younger person you think that you are invincible. The truth of the matter is what you do or don't do now in your youth will affect you in old age. You must fight to preserve your sexy now!  

Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) has been something we have always kept in our house when I was growing up. My mom use to give it to me mixed with warm water whenever I had a sore throat.
